Your Neighbourhood Counselling Clinic, Just Across the Humber

Many Etobicoke families come to us because we're close: one or two subway stops from Old Mill or Royal York, or a short drive along Bloor. Others stay for the care. Our therapists know the pressures facing west-end households: busy two-career families, kids navigating school and friendships, aging parents, and couples trying to stay connected through it all.

Teen Counselling

School stress, worry, friendship struggles, big feelings after a move or a family separation: children don't always have the words, but they show us. Our child and youth therapists include specialists in play therapy, and use CBT, DBT skills and family-based approaches suited to your child's age. Parents usually start with an initial assessment, and regular sessions run about 50 minutes.

Parenting & Family Counselling

When home feels tense, everyone feels it. Family counselling helps you break communication patterns that aren't working, handle conflict calmly, and rebuild connection between parents, kids and extended family.

Couples Counselling

Whether you've drifted apart, are recovering from a breach of trust, or are preparing for marriage, our couples therapists use the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Imago to help you communicate and reconnect. If your partner isn't ready to attend, you can begin on your own. Many clients report their relationship improves anyway.

What Our Clients Say ...

-S. S.

"I’ve been seeing Willa since 2022, and honestly, she’s been such an important part of my life since then. She’s warm, genuine, and has this amazing ability to make you feel completely safe and seen (while also keeping it real with you LOL) no matter what you’re bringing into the room. I always leave our sessions feeling a little more whole, a little more steady, and alot more confident in my ability to do hard things. If you’re looking for someone who truly dedicated to understanding and holds space with care, especially if you’re a person of colour, I can’t recommend Willa enough <3."

We at Life in Harmony Counselling are proud to share that we have won the prestigious Best Canadian Choice Award for Best Psychotherapy Clinic in 2025!
