Background Summary

Mathilde Beauvais is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from McGill University  and a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, specializing in Mental Health and Health.

Mathilde has experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across hospital, crisis, community, and private practice settings. Most recently, she completed her clinical placement in the Haematology/Oncology Department at SickKids Hospital, where she provided psychosocial support to children, young adults, and their families navigating complex medical diagnoses and treatment.

Mathilde takes a warm, collaborative, and relational approach to therapy. She believes meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship and strives to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and safe to explore their experiences. Her practice is informed by systems, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive and strengths-based perspectives, and she tailors therapy to meet each client's unique needs and goals.

Mathilde enjoys working with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship concerns, life transitions, grief and loss, chronic illness, reproductive and fertility-related experiences, and the emotional challenges that accompany significant life changes.
