Background Summary

If your mind is constantly racing, caught in cycles of anxiety, intrusive thoughts, intense emotions, or patterns that leave you feeling stuck, you’re not alone. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, understand what your nervous system has been trying to protect you from, and begin building a greater sense of safety and stability from within.

Nada specializes in supporting adults experiencing anxiety, OCD and intrusive thoughts (including relationship, harm, contamination, moral, perfectionism-related, and postpartum themes), Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), trauma, Complex PTSD (C-PTSD), and difficulties with emotion regulation.

Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. Nada believes that every behaviour makes sense in the context of our life experiences, and works alongside clients to understand the parts of themselves that have been working hard to protect them. Her goal is to help clients build a more regulated nervous system, strengthen self-trust, and create lasting change that aligns with their values.

She integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Diaectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), somatic approaches, and Polyvagal-informed principles, tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

Nada is a compassionate Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with over six years of clinical experience in healthcare and community mental health settings. She earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology from York University and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Toronto, where she completed clinical internships at Mackenzie Health and in community mental health. She is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and is a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, or simply feeling overwhelmed, Nada hopes to provide a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change.

Fun fact

When she’s not in the therapy room, you’ll likely find Nada spending quality time with her family, exploring nature, planning her next travel adventure, sipping a good cup of tea, or unwinding with a documentary. She’s an avid fan of alternative/punk/classic rock, loves thrifting and scrapbooking as creative outlets, and is happiest when there’s sushi involved (and probably a cat nearby!)
