Background Summary
A Registered Psychotherapist in practice since 2002, Peter studied at York University, specialized in Psychotherapy at the Transformational Arts College (T.A.C.) Institute in Toronto, and is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
An accomplished public speaker and presenter, Peter facilitates seminars and workshops in the fields of conflict resolution, motivational therapy and family support groups, as well as for families affected by eating disorders.
He also offers relationship counselling and has been supervising a youth mentorship program since 2003, where he works with teenagers and their families.
From 2004 - 2006, Peter was a board member of the R.E.C.O.N. team - a group that worked closely with Ontario Emergency Management (O.E.M.), where he acted as a consultant in the field of Emergency Response and Crisis Counselling.
Peter facilitates individuals, couples and groups and firmly believes that objectives and resolutions can be realized when individuals maintain commitment and set genuine goals. He has shared his ideas in various journals and on Radio, and his therapy programmes are aimed at improving psychological and emotional stability and confidence while evoking balance between compassion and pro-active resolution.
Peter also offers counselling in Italian.
Fun Fact: Peter has enjoyed numerous adventure travels including sky diving, canyoning paragliding, and bungee jumping. He also enjoys creating new dishes in the kitchen where he finds his peaceful place.
