Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Rebecca holds a license granted by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, earning her the esteemed title of Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). Her academic achievements include a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, as well as the acquisition of a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wilfred Laurier University.
Bringing over 10 years of experience working with children and teens in diverse settings, such as licensed childcare centers, schools, and multidisciplinary clinics, Rebecca has honed her skills and knowledge to provide effective support for individuals facing various challenges. Rebecca recognizes that each individual’s needs and experiences are unique and she ensures that the primary interventions and therapeutic approaches are tailored accordingly. In sessions with Rebecca, you can expect a safe and supportive space where you feel valued and encouraged to share your experiences. She understands that starting therapy can be challenging, but also deeply rewarding, and she is committed to helping you navigate your journey of self-growth and discovery through a collaborative approach and unwavering encouragement along the way. Rebecca specializes with children, adolescents and teens with anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, anger, large emotions as well as many other presenting challenges. Rebecca also works with adults both in person and online. Rebecca is familiar with the TDSB school system and is a local to the Bloor West Village.
When she’s not counselling, Rebecca enjoys travelling, practicing yoga, immersing herself in nature on camping and fishing trips, and cuddling with her two adorable cats!
