Dr. John is a Psychologist with over 20 years of experience in the treatment of eating disorders, obesity, and issues related to body image and weight management.

 

He received his Masters and Doctoral degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and completed a postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Chicago and Michael Reese Hospital.

During the last nine years he has directed a research and clinical programme concerning the role of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in the development and perpetuation of disordered eating, and is actively involved in the assessment and treatment of ADHD in adults and adolescents.

His clinical approach begins with understanding and accepting a person's basic psychological makeup and through 
a process of cooperative problem solving.

John assists his clients in finding more positives ways of coping and creating a more satisfying life.
